Community Garden's Volunteer Day - result!!
Posted: Mon Mar 21, 2011 8:01 pmIt was a great day, great weather and lots of volunteers, thanks to everyone who helped.
We planted 400 raspberry canes in our new market garden (just above the community garden) and potted up our hundreds of tomatoes and herb plants into six packs, ready for sale at the community garden and farmer's market.
We also pushed ahead with our most difficult project, putting up our large polytunnels but with our volunteer help we will do it.
