Postby kmc » Thu Aug 12, 2010 10:05 pm

Peninver Village hall
Christine and Livingston Russell are opening their garden to the public, in aid of hall funds, on Sunday the 15th Aug, from 2.00pm to 4.30pm.
At the same time afternoon teas will be served in the hall.

A minibus has been organised to ferry those wishing to vist the garden from the hall to the garden entrance, half way up Peninver Brae.
There is no parking at the garden entrance

I was just thinking about this today as I knew there was to be an open day at The Smiddy in August.
For anybody who hasn't seen this garden, I urge you to take the time to visit. It is truly amazing!!
As a retired science teacher, Livingstone helps us out in school quite often on a voluntary basis. He is by far the most knowlegable man I have ever met and he and his wife Christine have a full time in job in making their garden the stunning place that it is! Well worth a wee drive to peninver tomorrow(today).
