Campbeltown Malts Festival 2017

Busy times ahead for Campbeltown and Kintyre with the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2017 taking place from Wednesday 24th-Friday 26th May.

On the Wednesday (24th May), the main event will be the Glen Scotia Open Day which will feature a variety of tastings, tours, music and special bottlings etc.

Thursday (25th May) will be the annual Springbank Distillers Open Day who have a range of activities on offer such as free distillery tours, specialised whisky masterclasses, a whisky bar with lots of rare whiskies from Springbank, special bottlings, local craft stalls and much more. The day time events will begin at 11am and finish about 5pm. In the evening from around 7pm-11pm, there will be live music from the Wee Toon Tellers and a licensed bar in the Malt Barns at Springbank Distillery.

On the Friday (26th May), we will be dedicating the day to Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery and Cadenhead’s Independent Bottler.
Friday events will be centered around Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery where there will be hourly free tours of the distillery, local stalls and the return of the popular Cadenhead Lucky Dip Bar which was a huge hit last year.

All this before the fantastic weekend of events at the superb Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon and 10k Race - with 1000 entries to this sold in hours again.
