Machrihanish Dunes and the International World Pairs competition are pleased to kick off this global championship event with a processional down Main Street in Campbeltown on Tuesday 8 October 2013 featuring the Machrihanish Dunes Pipe Band and the Highland Dancers.

Come out and support the international golfers and your community!

Machrihanish Dunes will host the 2013 International Pairs World Finals from October 7 – October 10, 2013. The International Pairs World Finals, a global championship, is expected to draw teams from more than 30 different countries.

WHO: Sixty golfers from around the world will converge on Campbeltown from October 7 – 10. The opening ceremony will include a procession of the international golfers, plus promoters, Machrihanish Dunes representatives and more.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 8 @ 6:30 pm. The procession will start at Town Hall with the golfers and the Machrihanish Dunes Sound of Kintyre Pipe Band.

ROUTE: The procession will proceed down Main Street to The Royal Hotel, where the group will be met by The Highland Dancers for a performance outside at 6:45 pm.
