CEILIDH for CONGO

We are so fortunate in Kintyre to have top-rate maternity care. Expecting mothers are given the best possible attention and all mothers and babies carefully guided through the birthing process. But what about those who don't have such care? Currently in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 1 in 30 women die in childbirth (the highest maternal mortality rate in the world). Many are living with no access to ANY maternity care, and are giving birth at home with no medical equipment. Can we change this? YES!!

YOU, friends, family and ALL of Kintyre is invited to an ALL-AGE CEILIDH with LIVE BAND on SATURDAY 22ND JUNE from 6.30pm in Kirk Street Hall, Campbeltown to raise money for a MATERNITY CLINIC to be built near Mugunga refugee in Congo*.

It will be a great night of live music, dancing, games, snacks, fundraising stalls and good company. The will be activities suitable for ALL AGES! A good party for a good cause. We will save women, save families and save lives.

Tickets: £7 adult, £4 child, £15 family available in McMillans and Hardware Store (Campbeltown).
