WEST COAST WARRIOR CHALLENGE

ARE YOU UP TO IT?
The West Coast Warrior Challenge is a 12 hour gym triathlon in aid of Anthony Nolan. The challenge is carried out in teams of 2. It consists of 4 hours of treadmill running, 4 hours cycling and 4 hours rowing. (During rowing section teams swap every 15 mins, then every 30 mins during running and cycling sections).

Who will be the best in the West.

The event is taking place on Saturday 24th September 2011 in:

Mid Argyll Sports Centre in Lochgilphead, Energie Fitness Club in Oban and Aqualibrium in Campbeltown.

So it really is a West Coast Challenge.

Aqualibrium are inviting 6 teams to compete for the honour of being crowned West Coast Warriors 2011.

So come on workplaces, sporting groups etc. Can the lifeboat take on the coastguard? Can the running club match the canoe club? Could the firebrigade take on the police? Whatever the outcome the winner will be charity as this is being held in aid of Anthony Nolan.

Sounds like an amazing challenge fiona - ouch! For a great cause. I'm sure a few in the running club may be interested so will pick up a leaflet from you at the aqua sometime soon.
