Quiz Night at the Argyll Arms on Wednesday 21st July at 8.30pm 4 people per team £10 per team and
The Annual Duck Race on Friday 30th July followed by a bar-be-que. 7.30 with an 8.00pm start at the golf course bridge.

Both are towards funds for the new hall.

We plan to demolish the old one and to build a shell which will be gradually kitted out.

Managed down to Southend tonight for the Duck Race. Good family entertainment. Just a pity the weather wasn't better but well done everyone involved.

Great Bonfire and BBQ afterwards too! Think number 147 won? Sooze can you confirm details etc?

We had a great night and raised around £1k will post once I know final amount

Only casualties were my niece Lorna Stevenson, at the finishing line with myself and Ian Smith, who fell in while collecting the ducks and a lost duck.
