Trying to trace memories

Postby Mandi Palmer » Wed Mar 30, 2005 7:31 pm

Hi David,
As promised I have visited and loved the new site :D
I lived in Southend as a child from '53 to '60/'61. My father was the District Officer of coastguards ( Ralph Rowland) and we lived in the larger house set to the side of the main station. I have only a few pictures to remind me of those times and, as a result of an accident, I only have selective memories of my time there.
I would dearly love to find anyone who may remember me from those times to 'fill in the blanks' and to bring me up to date. I was in Southend Primary school from '56 (age 5 ) until I moved south in '60/'61.
Hoping that there is someone out there who can help.
Yours,
Madeleine (Mandi) Palmer
