Just want to say Hello from Hampton, Georgia, USA. My family use to live in Campbeltown in the mid- 80's. Father was stationed at RAF Machrihanish. I came upon this site while surfing the web. Very nice website. Nice to see pictures of the town again.

I remember living in the town as an American kid, who was treated by the locals as one of the local kids. Yes, I was one of those kids who had a motorcycle, and tied up traffic in the roundabout. Just really enjoyed everyday while living in the town.
