Hello Elilidh,
I'm sure you will enjoy every place you visit in the Pacific , New Zealand , Australia etc. I did.
It was also (-1)C in Chesterfield last night so I agree with Annie , enjoy the warm weather.
Lots of great food and people that make visitors to their land more than wellcome.
Enjoy you travels

hello from aldinga beach, south australia. Im researching Graham family history in Campbeltown and Southend so hello to any grahams if there are any still living there. Love your site, especially the history and photos plus the quirky scots humour. susy.

McNeills from Tirefergus

Postby robinoz » Sun Apr 15, 2007 2:03 am

Hi, my grandfather/3 was Andrew McNeill, emmigrated to the Land of Oz in 1838. He (and his parents lived at Coalhill and Tirefergus.
I visited the area August 2006 and have some current maps of the area. Hope to revisit 2008.

Are there any maps, showing residents (circa 1830) of the area?

Is it nice? Thinking about going over that way soon. Good for the family? Quite near Girona too?
