Idea - friends and contacts etc

Anyone got any ideas on listing your details on here so people can catch up with each other?

One trail of thought was (so that it is self maintained) to have a separate forum on this board and have Year of Birth (or ranges).

So if you were born in 1978 you could post your details here and hopefully friends can contact each other? Of course some of you would have to re-resgiter so as not to give your identities away.

Just trying to get fresh ideas for the board.

Sounds good . There was something like that on another Campbeltown website ages ago. Helps catch up with old school friends.

I'll look at setting this up over the weekend but may be better to then create a database on the website at different intervals.

The thing is how to we encourage more people on the board and then POST! Site is now getting well over 1000 visits a week and would be good for fresh postings on here with other views - I don't like posting so much!

Do you think this is worth setting up? A totally separate topic for this with each year a thread where you post your details if you were born that year????

Of course, all those aliases out there can re-register and post with your details if you wish!

Might set it up by decades, Davie. It wouldn't take up so much room as separate threads for each year. For example: 25-35, 35-45, or 20-30, 30-40? Leave a girl a little privacy!
