Hi Thanks for the add.
I have been visiting Kintrye for many years and really enjoy our breaks but i,m seeking a wee bit of help-
i always notice on the journey down that there is static caravans on route , i would love one does anyone know of any for sale i would love to know
Or if there is anywhere else that is not to expensive
Sick o towing caravan down upto 5 times a year
i am willing to go off main road if price and view at good

Hi Sunshine,
my uncle and his daughter (both live in Campbeltown) bought caravans up the West road, from talking to them most of the sale's are by "word of mouth" or you could try dropping in to the site and asking around, you never know you might get lucky.

You could also e mail caravan sites in the area with a "wanted"request.

Thanks Roger but I'm looking for somewhere that I could go to anytime not just seasonal opening
As I like to get down through the winter did use to have converted transit van and would come down out of season

Don't think so but they should be open all year.
I've been to Campbeltown out off season for past , 7 yrs

When I am on the A83 heading for Campbeltown I see the people that have caravans,plots near to the sea and envy them.Good luck to you.Hope that you find what you want.

Until the farmer comes along and spreads slurry on the neighbouring field. :roll:

Can you not get odour free slurry nowadays? Surely that would be the way to go.

:? well i suppose the smell is awful but where i stay at my home the farmers spray and the smell is just one of the things we suffer , but hell i would.nt mind if i had a view like some of the views down Campbeltown
