Welcome Rockape - my brother served with the RAF at Machrihanish in the 70s, but I didn't know much about the place till moving here 2001 - a little gem of a place.

Yeah, during my service I never knew quite where RAF Machrihanish was, just that it was regarded as the 'punishment posting'!! What can I say, some people never could appreciate the fantastic places they were posted to!
