Baby Emma was born on 13 july 2010 17 weeks early surprising Nicola and myself. Emma weighs a mere 1lb 1oz and will be in neonatal care in the Princess Royal Maternity for the forseeable future but is currently doing well. We would like to thank family and friends for the tremendous and continuing support we have received over the last few weeks it is greatly appreciated by us both.

Thanks again Kenneth & Nicola

I know from experience that baby Emma is the best place to be right now. Our two were born in the Princess Royal and we saw first hand how totally awesome the staff there are. From Dr Mather on down, they were magnificent. Our daughter was only 2lb 12 when she was born, but there were a couple 1lb ers there at the time too. Looking at her now, you would never believe how small she was, she's the tallest in her class.

Good luck to baby Emma and family

After 4 months, 2 major ops and countless procedures Emma came home on saturday 13th november exactly four months after she was born! Thanks to the hundreds of well wishers who sent cards and messages of support during Emmas and Nicolas stays in hospital, special thanks to Martine and Keith Craig their advise and friendship was invaluable too us. Finally a massive thank you to the all staff at both Yorkhill and especially the Princess Royal for their skill and dedication to ensure our wee girl is here today and a picture of health.

thank you Kenneth, Nicola and Emma Brodie.
