Mr Hugh Knapp, Secretary of the Scottish Amateur Football Association, has kindly pledged to bring the Scottish Amateur National Team to Kintyre Park to mark the 90th Anniversary of Campbeltown Pupils AFC.

The game will take place at Kintyre Park on Saturday 25th July 2009 with a 2.00pm kick-off - PLEASE NOTE AMENDED KICK-OFF TIME!

The national squad normally only gathers for international duty, or games of importance to the SAFA . Don't miss this unique occasion, something that promises to be a great advert for amateur football.

The match will be sponsored by Roland Butter of Main Street Campbeltown.

NB. Alcohol is not permitted in the ground and it is illegal to consume on the streets of the town - Campbeltown By-Law. Please adhere strictly to this information.

I see Darian McKinnon who was the star player the day the Pupils met Scotland is now starring for Clydebank Juniors and won their player of the year. Surprised he isn't at a higher level.

I see Darian MacKinnon has now signed for Hamilton Academicals in the SFL First Division. Great player so will look forward to seeing him in action
