SUCCESS FOR C/TOWN SOCCER CENTRE

Davie martin and Ian mcGeachy,took a team of under 12`s to a football
competition on Islay(Bowmore) on Saturday.

There were a total of 6 teams 3 from Islay,1 from Appen,and 1 from Lochgilphead. Every team played each other once and the team with the
most points won the comp.

Campbeltown last game was against Appen,which made it a thrilling finish as both teams were on the same points,so whoever won this game won the comp. So after a hard fought match C/town came out winners 2-1.

Stuart Crossan got to the final of the penalty shootout,but he coudnt maintain his accuracy,and was was put out in the final round.
