Scottish Women's Bowling Association Championships Update

The SWBA championships start Friday 15th at Ayr Northfield at 9.00pm. Campbeltown BC is represented in the singles by Shirley Bannatyne and in the triples by Shona Anderson, Bobby Robertson and Ria Johnston. The Argyll club is represented in the senior fours by Douglas McKerral, Moira Graham, Isobel Wilson and Margaret Morran. Best of luck to all concerned as it is a tall order to compete in this event against players who are playing at the highest level week in and out.

Stronvaar had a 50% success rate with Shirley Bannatyne qualifying for the first of hopefully 2 games on Saturday but the triple lost narrowly by 2 or 3 shots.
