Campbeltown and District Community Football Club are hosting an Adult Level 1 Club Coach Certificate coaching course in Campbeltown next weekend. The two day course on Saturday and Sunday 15th and 16th December targets coaches who work in the adult game and runs from 10am to 4pm each day on the All Weather Pitch and will be delivered by Martin Rae, Argyll & Bute Council’s Scottish Football Association Football Development Officer.

The course is open to coaches who work with adult players at amateur, junior or senior club level. The course is practical in nature and looks at the basic themes of control, passing, possession, dribbling, finishing and defending, as well as the structure of training sessions.

The course which is normally £55.00 is being offered FREE following funding secured by the Community Club to deliver a coaching framework within Kintyre for children, youth and adult level. Campbeltown and District Community Football Club, whose members include Campbeltown Pupils AFC, Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association and the schools, will also be delivering the two day Level 2 Working with Young Children course on January 19th and 20th as part of their commitment towards achieving the SFA’s Quality Mark status in 2013.

If you are interested in attending the course please contact David Paterson on 07785937845.
