Meadows were defeated 2-1 at home to Kilmartin today in an evenly fought match on Kinloch Green.

The home side led for much of the game following the opener by Stuart McCue. However, in the 81st minute Kilmartin made it 1-1 with a fine finish from Lewis Peacock and the same player made it 2-1 five minutes later. Ewan McMillan nearly made it 2-2 in the 92 minute of the match when his lob agonisingly hit the post and rolled righty across the Kilmarton goal line before being cleared to safety.

Kintyre Athletice defeated Meadows 6-2 in a league fixture that was missed earlier in the season. Well done to the young Kintyre Athletic for an entertaining game played in good spirit. Well done
