Have been looking into completing this with my family sometime in the next two years. we would need a carry on service ie our bags to go to the next night's accommodation each day. Trouble is, I can only see ways that will cost about £500 per person - that would make the trip over £2000! There is no way we could afford that. Does anyone know of a cheaper way of doing it? I don't mind booking accommodation myself and we don't need the maps and guides the online companies offer as part of their deal. It would really just be the carrying of our bags.
Can anyone tell me if a local taxi company would do it? And if there would be somewhere to leave our car at the start of the Way for a week?
