View from the old Jetty at Tayinloan. My husband accuses me of using a blue filter, but the image is just as the camera took it.

Pete and Bonnie, beautiful photos! We certainly have been blessed with a great week of weather.

I took a few at the beach yesterday when I visited Westport to go sledging down the dunes! Great fun and you forget how big those dunes are!

That's a beautiful shot, Bonnie. If your other half isn't convinced tell if you had used a blue filter the red buoys would have looked black ;)

SCD

I had no idea those dunes were so large either. The first pic certainly puts them into perspective and the second shot is a belter :)

Great pics BL and SCD.

I really like views of Jura, and I have never actually taken anything from Tayinloan.

Your 1st and 3rd pics have a great sky in them SCD. I have seen a view from I think Utah, which has a similar cloud pattern which they call a Buttermilk Sky.
No, I don't know why, but just maybe Bobbie in Texas does.

Pete, I was looking at this photo, Thinking to myself that I have seen this one before, I have one taken almost at the same point and looking at the snow on the hills round about the same time. This one was taken on the 5th January.

Think I visited a few days before you. We are very nearly on the same spot. Another "fools seldom differ" moment. I shared one with Crowth at West Loch Tarbert :D

Two quite different images from the same location, and that's what makes photography so interesting.

Happy Snapping.

Yes, and they are only a couple of hundred yards from the entrance point at Westport. I think everytime I see them they get bigger! Can't believe we used to run up and down them as part of pre-season!

Great fun for the kids. Pity it is spoiled at the bottom by people starting fires and breaking bottles in and round them - doh!

Taken on Saturday night (11th April 2010) - no Photoshop or anything used (not that I can!) but just a fluke when I accidentally clicked trying to take a sip of beer. 8)

Malky, I took this one and when I looked at it tonight I thought to myself you really need to take the poor fella doon to Ian's for a haircut! (would be a good photo for an advert!)
