>>(though don't remember too much bass in the original!)<<

If you watch the original here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYhTye_A9H0

You notice the bass comes in exactly the same place as I do. I added a few more bass notes up front, but then Paul's bass comes in some measures down the line ,and continues to the end of the song.

Brilliant video! Nice also to see the original again, I can remember it when it first came out, and haven`t seen it for donkeys years. Wonder if all those people are still in the area?

Hey - vidrazor

I think I picked up on the up-front bass notes; overall I am very impressed with the faithfulness of the rendition - fabulous!

It must take so long time to do this sort of thing, and I do admire your patience.

Best regards, Mary G

Maybe it could help with the promotion of Kintyre as a tourist destination. As Tesco says, "every little helps" :D

Publicise and promote it well. :D

vidrazor wrote:OK, well, I finally finished the video I made of my little a cappella experiment. Hopefully you'll like it. :-) The video can be watch here:

The link above will be to the higher resolution version that YouTube allows, which is somewhat better video quality and stereo audio. You'll need version 9 of Adobe's Flash player in your system, which most of you should have, or can easily update to.

As I mentioned at the YouTube page, I'd like to thank Bonnie Lass, chrisduffy, and jdcarra here at the kintyreforum for sending me their photos to use in this video. Not all the images are of the Mull Of Kintyre, but I wanted something that showed not only the Mull Of Kintyre but the surrounding areas as well.

Hope you all like, and if you do, tell your friends to check it out. Enjoy.

Excellent Vidrazor

Very well done and i'm sure a lot of friends will agree with me and as all has said on this forum.

Cheers
