December 1st - The biggest waves I've ever seen

each windsurfing mast is 4-5 metres high, showing just how big these monsters were. When its like this Machrihanish is a world class windsurfing venue.

I, there's some power in them oceans as seen on the tv last night BBC2 "The Power of the Planet" You'll need to have a bash at Carradale Bay on your passing sometime :wink:

thanks JD, we sailed up at carradale a few times last winter, I ripped a sail during my last visit :( It works well in a southerly, in fact you might see me this weekend :D The pictures above were taken in the morning, however we were in the lee of the hill at Machrihanish, and were missing most of the wind. we moved up to Bellochantuy in the afternoon, where it was even windier, with bigger swell. more picture to follow
