The Harvest Moon

Postby Beachcomber » Thu Sep 27, 2007 8:17 am

Clear skies and I was out taking more photos last night, this time of the Harvest Moon.

This one is of the Moon setting behind Sron na Sean-mhathaire, around 6:45am this morning.

Plenty more photos in my Photobucket.

Ditto what Annie and Chrisduffy said!

Nope, just cropped for composition.

What kind of a camera are you using?

Hi Bobbie,

I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 which is a digitial 'bridge' camera. It's a fine piece of kit which I'd recommend to anyone. For the Moon pictures I added an Olympus 1.45x tele-extender which took the focal length out to around 600mm.
