Up Cnoc Breac this morning

Postby Crowth » Sun Jul 17, 2011 7:16 pm

Cnoc Breac is the 611 ft hill across the glen from our house, it may be small in stature but it's big on views.

Carradale Sub Station

I was lucky enough to get a tour of this a couple of months back. This station can handle 300+ Mw of power yet Kintyre only uses 10Mw, the extra capacity is to handle the outgoing power from Kintyre's three windfarms.
