Beautiful pictures Crowth, I`ve never seen those views in the flesh, they show me what I`ve been missing.

I hate to have to say this, but we won`t be coming to Kintyre this year, hubby has a yen to explore the other side of Scotland, i.e. the east coast. There have been many an argument, but he`s asserted his authority, unfortunately. I`ll have to be content with all the beautiful photographs on this forum.

If that's the case, Number, then I recommend tampering with the onboard compass. A strong magnet in your handbag on the dashboard should do the trick ;)

I don't think I have ever witnessed a rainbow so late in the evening - this was taken after 10pm tonight! The sky to the west coast looked amazing too but sadly I wasn't prepared and had no time to get there!

Here are a couple more. You will see from the second one the wonderful sky to the west - wonder if anyone has any photos?

There was a very strange, eery and spooky light here at 10.00pm last night as well.....a great big, high arched, rainbow landing right on top of Sanda Island......I was mesmorised by the scene, that mesmorised I did not go get my camera  :?
