Victorian Photograpy in Kintyre

On another forum I have seen a picture of some of my ancestors who lived in Kintyre towards the close of the nineteenth Century. Unfortunately the photo is not dated, but I would put it possibly 1875-1900.

Does anyone know the names of photographers in the area at that time? Photography would be juts becoming popular.

Apologies if this is the wrong section to post in. Any help would be appreciated.

That is very helpful indeed. In 1900 there were not so many photographers around
