Back then I didn't have a tripod or a clue what I was doing and it's more luck than judgement that any of these matched up at all. I won't tidy these up so you can see how truly awful they are. The first one was my first attempt and is truly terrible.

I think they're good - you managed to line them up quite well :D

I was trying to make out the cars on the second photo for the age - I'd guess at early to mid 80's???

I like these too, they line up really well. They're more successful versions of my own attempts at panoramas before digital came along.

I'd hazard a guess the second one was taken mid to late eighties (you can't take the VW and the Landy into consideration as they're both from the sixties and they're both probably still on the road today  )

Thanks for your kind comments. I think they were taken between '86 - '88, no later than that as the Yashica I was using was murdered in '88 !
Here's a cropped version of the original, see if that helps.

If memory serves correctly, that derelict fishing boat lying at the pier was there 1982/83. Might the photo be earlier than 1986/88?

There is that possibility. I've no way of knowing now as all the negs I had stored and sorted into years were lost in the fire.
