It was installed in partnership with the RAC, who provided the barrage balloons :D

Inspired by all the great pictures on here thought i'd have a quick go at the weekend whilst having a walk along to Chleit, firstly with the Photosynth app on an iPod -

Image

and again with a compact and Microsofts free Image Composite Editor -

Image

Also got a bit carried away and used MICE to stitch 7 photos together of the view from Muasdale beach but unfortunately its a bit too wide to put on here in any detail -

Image

They were both easy to use, free and the results don't appear too bad for someone with a complete lack of any camera skills! :D MICE also worked really well to combine google map screen grabs [copyright Google], see my attempts at Tarbert Harbour and the Rest from the Lochgoilhead Road below....

I am not certain but if you leave Campbeltown on the B842 with Davaar Island on your right it is near Peninver Sands.

Number,

Just follow the Carradale road out of town and on the first straight (about halfway along) after it swings northwards they're on your right.

Bit confusing directions as the first straight is at Baraskomil as not everyone could be compass orientated.

He thinks it's heaven on earth- unfortunately the local wildlife seems to suffer a bit when he's there. He always makes himself scarce when it's time to leave too.
