After 4 years of meaning to do it, I have finally entered and I am coming home for the weekend. New Years resolution on day 4 training so hopefully won't be too knackered in 3 months time. Can't wait, and daughter number 2 has said she is up for it too, although I bet she doesn't wait for me, KIDS!!!!!!

I note that the MOKrun isn't in the Race Diary, for May, in this months Runners World. I would have thought that after the huge popularity and well deserved successes of previous years, especially in the favourite events category of RW, this would have been one that they would be highlighting.

I noticed this too Rabmacd and I queried with Runners World. They said that the listings are for races for people to enter and they omit any races that are full already.

Thanks Elaine.
After I posted I thought that maybe the full complement was the reason.

I have to admit, though, that I looked at the particular page and expected a great big spangly star, in 3D effect, to jump oot at me to tell me that MOKRUN was near!

I think that I'm going to have a go at the "Rave Run" section in RW and try to get the cameras doon for the Westport to Machrihanish beach run. Cracking run.......

Great idea Rab, there's plenty of great scenic routes around that could easily be featured! I'm suprised I've not seen a local yet showing off our area... I thought Pans Lass would've had featured on the Rave Run section by now too :D

Rab, there is loads in Kintyre, would not like to be a judge on that one, maybe like Skerry has said she has run a few undulating runs in the past there are a few contenders for what is the best run in Kintyre.

Rave Run Kintyre if RW don't take it up,there loss.
