Amron

This is the only one that I could find you in Sorry! I have given a cd to the P so he can post any that are worth putting on
'fraid you are away at the back in this one.At one point it was so difficult to get all the numbers passing and I helped the marshalls and the photos ended up a bit wonky at times.

You did a grand job there were loads of cameras out and about.

Really glad that the sun came out when we went down to register it was still raining.

Has anybody got any pics of the half marathon :)

hi guys,

after travelling back to work this morning at ridiculous o'clock, I think we are all relieved that it was yesterday we were running!!!!!!!

A hearty round of applause to the organisers ( you know who you are!) as things seemed to go as smoothly as anyone could have expected (well maybe the raffle could've gone better haha)

my real reason for posting today is to thank a couple of people for getting me round the half marathon course, names were not exchanged so descriptions are all I have, here goes:

1. very tall man with blue t-shirt and red vest for giving me a pace for about 6 miles (before which I was a mess) he'll know who he was, he kept having to rewind his ipod to his favourite track!!!!!
2. lady in lifeboat livery who ran with myself and above mentioned gent for approx 4 miles before dropping a cog and racing off into the dust.
3. Donald (ra polis i think) who nearly stopped coming down the big kiln to make sure i was alright - i was cramping really bad at that point - he basically kicked my butt down that stretch and ran with me to the finish line, i got a wee bit of second wind at the finish line and nearly forgot my manners, only slowing to let donald pass me at the line. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO YOU ALL.

ALL THE BEST TO ALL INVOLVED

MADSCOTSBLOKE
AKA No 103

PS AS I WAS DESCRIBED AS "GAVIN BROWN FROM """"CAMPBELTOWN""" AT THE FINISH LINE DOES THIS FINALLY MEAN I'M A NATURALISED TOONIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHH ACCEPTED AT LAST

BYE FUR NOO NEEBS
