Are you going to run it then, D.A.? If so, good for you. Sounds like a great day tomorrow. Hope to see lots of pics.

Is it possible to turn the camera towards low askomil to watch the runners? Not sure I'll be up at that ungodly hour (I am 6 hours behind), but would watch if I am, and others might find it interesting.

I would say "break a leg" to the runners, which usually means "good luck," but I think I better pass on that phrase and just say "good luck."

Oh dear, seems to be total white out sun glare on the webcam just now.......but that means it is a perfect day for the race :D . I'm sure Davy will fix the camera. I think the start of the race will show up on screen, maybe even the finish line too.

Just away out to get on with my work then into town to assist.

Hope the people of Campbeltown and area come out to support the event.
The organisers have put in some mighty amount of work.

Been up since the back of six. Long wait 'til race time. My immediate thoughts are that I should have done more training  Banana, tea and jammy toast for breakfast. Raining now, so hope that goes off before the start. Just have to get through about an hour and three quarters of torture and then the party can begin :D

Everybody wins! it was a great day, a great event, lots of photos were taken, lots will be posted!......just home this minute. Helped dismantle the course but the main men....Hendrie, John and Tommy Barbour and main weemin, Elaine McKillop and Helen McKinlay were up ALL of last night putting up signs then re-erecting the markqu..ehhh the marrkequee....ehhh the BIG TENT! when it blew down in the wind, when I left they were taking it, and the gantry, scaffolding down again....there really is a HUGE amount of work involved.
The ceilidh is tonight..might go to that furra wee bevvy and chat about the race.

Right, there should be a pic of Tom and John Barbour in deep discussion just before the race start.

Awww, what a cutie plums! (Does that make daddy the cutie prune?)  By the look on his face, do you think he thought he was going to have to run it? I imagine there were a few more with that same look.

4th, try 75% first, and if it is still too big, do 75% again. That should be sufficient.
