Piper

Postby elainemck » Sun May 21, 2006 8:30 pm

We are still on the lookout for 2 lone pipers to play at the halfway points for each of the routes - think this will be great motivation for the runners and a fantastic photo opportunity. So if you or you know of someone wanting to show off some local talent please let me know! You can email me on elainemckillop@hotmail.com or pm me.

Thanks
Elaine

Iain mcKerral would be the best person to ask about this.
Zinedine Zidane, who remarked the following after Makélélé' was sold and Beckham was bought:
Why put another layer of gold paint on the Bentley when you are losing the entire engine?

But with the number of pipers that he has I am sure that he can spare a couple ... maybe those that have graduated out of the junior level bands.

I am sure if you asked him he would know where to go!

Cheers

You know a good piper pretty well Mary  he is the very man for the furthest outpost of the race....

See you on Sunday.

He is marshalling ... best avenue for him!

He almost entered to run. Even though I would be first to say that he is multi-talented, running, marshalling and piping, together, is a bit of a tall order!

Cheers

If he could do all that, and cycle his bike at the SAME time, then he might get his picture in the Courier!!

after a quick re-read of that post:

FOR "WARNING ME OFF" please read "encouraging me to the finish"

nearly way too much controversy (not sure on that spelling  ) for a tuesday
