The Kintyre Forum

Apart from the howling wind and very cold at times, today was another great achievment for the organisers of this now very popular event in Kintyre. Posted are just some quick snaps of all todays winners.I have many more of the runners taken from the clock car that i will sort out later and post some more, the rest i shall put onto a dvd and drop off at the sports shop in Campbeltown for viewing as they have done yearly (if this is still on with the new owners).If you are in any of the photos and wish a copy get in touch with me and I will sort that out.
Just to add a big thank you to Robert Wisemans (Sandy) for the privilege again of driving the big cow machine .

Once again a fantastic MOK Run from start to finish, Tom and his team got the organization spot on again, a massive well done to each and everyone of you.
It was great just to be at the finish line a watch everyone come in, and how good it was to see so many younger runner's too, especially the younger ones who are slightly older than me, fantastic. Well done to you all.
As I took nearly 500 photo's, only missing a couple of runner's to change batteries, I think it is best to post the link to them below, have a look and see if YOU are there. Great event once again, and the buzz that was around town all weekend helped make this year's event the best yet.

Fantastic effort put in and the atmosphere, considering the weather an hour before the start, was still amazing.

I am still in the process of sorting out the photos from the start and on the Dunes. The beauty of digital has resulted in over 1400 images to get through

I will get a select few on here or post a link over the next few days.

Thanks to everyone who gave me a smile, wave, thumbs up, aeroplane impression, tartan bunnet, cola bottle (yes Cola bottle) or full blown Bananaman!!!!! It really made my day to see so many happy people enjoying themselves.

I've still to sort the ones I have!

Once again I managed to attend the event with my camera, but a fallen tree at Kildonald made me miss the start and my place in the clock car. This evening I finally got around to doing something with the pics I DID get and I was going to post them in a seperate thread as I usually do, but it seems there is an effort being made to make this one the thread with the most picture links, so I'll do my bit here.

All my shots were taken from West Darlochan Farm or the finish line.

If anyone wants a full size copy of any of these, pm me and I'll gladly email you one through.
