In 1978 I was planning a visit, (on my own so no pictures ) to Coniglen cottage with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Wullie and while speaking to Jenny on the phone I mentioned how great it must be that Wings had "put the Mull of Kintyre on the map". Aunt Jenny replied "Och, it's great for the towrists but it's an awffy dirge" I was just starting out songwriting then but promised that if I ever wrote a song about Coniglen it wouldn't be a dirge and about 15 years later ...
