Scotland's Rural Past

Postby John S » Mon Oct 30, 2006 12:27 am

I saw a really interesting item on Landward this morning about a project which is looking to identify and categorise communities and homes which have disappeared from the landscape, only the ruins remaining.

I know that there are a wealth of these in Kintyre and some people here may be interested in highlighting and preserving them. This could also be a great complimentary project with the Kintyre Way.

I didn't see Landward on Sunday, but I will follow up this.

This could also be part of the "What is needed?" thread in Local News and Issues. It is a lot more relevant than discussing Drumchapel.
