What's the building next to the old Lifeboat House at Machrihanish ?
Surely its an eyesore on a beautiful spot.
I was last there in 1972 whilst staying with relation in Longrow ( Perry )

Do you mean the buildings just past the old lifeboat house and slipway, if so it is a cod fishfarm.

Check out below website, also just do a search, fishfarms Machrihanish.

Probably some of these young hatched cod will be reared in the two proposed cod fishfarms just north of Carradale which applications are in the final stages. Will post some pics of it next time i visit Machrihanish.
