Bellochantuy building. 'tisit?

Postby ChrisA » Mon Jul 30, 2012 12:10 am

Can anyone shed any light on what this building actually is/used for ?

The third building, right of the picture.

As the cottage in the middle is the old school caretaker's house, then I'm assuming that the old school itself was where this odd, 70s looking building now sits. The place seems to always have a light on inside, but appears to contain nothing but industrial type equipment.

What is it?

It's called Seann Sgoil, meaning Old School, and had the upper floor added some years ago.

It's a private residence belonging to Mr Hedley Wright, owner of Springbank Distillery

Really? Well, there seems to be no-one living there, and based on the strange sounds and lights emitting from its walls I can only imagine what's being 'distilled'.

I am not going to report this post by PM. I doubt I would get an answer. I am doing it publicly.

I hope someone tells the home owners that a nut onThe Kintyre Forum is broadcasting to the world that their house is lying empty. Very irresponsible.
