Can anyone tell me if the name Corbett is an old Campbeltown name, or where it might have came from?....Also Corbett's Close does it still exist?.....and who was Corbett? Thankyou Marian

Hi Marian - it has already been moved to this section (Local History). You had initially posted it in Introductions/Say Hello.

Apologies, I could have been more obvious.

Hi Marian ! A very good question..., and I'm surprised the "old Campbeltonians" on here are unable to answer.

I possed similar questions concerning Arthur's Seat and O'Neil's Land etc. Flemings Land got a great response..., but I'm surprised there's nobody on here who works for the Town Council. This type of information should be available somewhere ! :(
