The pictures of jock's boats are in the water, no surprise there you might ask, but how did the kids get into the boats without getting there tootsies wet?

JD you were a man experienced in Captaining such fine vessels maybe you can tell us 8)

PR

To the left of both pictures you can just see the end of the wooden gangway to the beach which had a set of wheels (jocks wheels) built on to move it back and forth from the boats. Someone may back me up on this. I fine vessels, I wonder today what ever happened to them all?

I Bitter, i think you played a wee yun on me there. Did yae naw mind tae add on another mile on tae that distance. Somethin rings a bell wae me. Chimney fires, collecting caravans an ah that. Gonae check oot later, git back tae ye later before a keel ower wae ah the excitement on the Speakers Corner. Awa to fun ma camera, got plenty lessons fae John Gillespie last nicht on his wee visit tae Carradale. He gave a presentation tae the Womans Guild in the wee Church, open tae anybody, the Camera Club went along for some tips. We tipped the women for a nice cup oh tea and the best o home baking. See what yae's ah missed. Richt, awa to see if ther still afloat or a'll need to call oot the trumpton cg. [quote]

BE, Just copied the above from the other posting and as Laura says about boat in garden, G Nelson was telling me about it last week while clearing out house when Jock left. Back to my task, saw a bow bow sticking oot oh a bush in a garden naw far from here. Gonae ask the residents if they want a bit oh free garden tidy, bush trimmin, grass cuttin an that, then ah can maybe git a picture tae fill this site again. Am awa tae Glasgow noo, noticed you were up early, are ye gan tae? Catch ye later.

Same goes for me, JD. Thanks again for your pictures. They really are wonderful for us that have never seen the area, or only parts of it, to visualize what people are talking about in their stories. :D

Well Bitter,

It took long enough but here they are and in a bit oh sorry state. They wud need tae have a wee bit oh TLC tae bring them shipshape again. Danny offered tae gae me the wan below the tree if we could get it restored, only snag is the top decks are gone. Just as Laura reported about the other boat being used for flowers or in this case weeds.
