Kilkivan Cemetry.

Close to Kilkivan quarry lies the ruins of a 13th century chapel, known as St Kevins. He is said to have inaugurated a custom for married couples who were unhappy in their marrage. All couples concerned would gather annualy in darkness and run blindfolded around the chapel 3 times in a sunwise direction. On his command they would all stop and grab the nearest member of the opposite sex to them.
Following this, all couples would be married for the next 12 months, and if dissatified at the end of this period, would return, and do it all over again.

Hmmm seems like a tall tale, but i dont know anyone that old who can confirm or deny it.
Apart from Pete Reek that is.

The thing is, if each couple started out together and were all running at the same speed in the same direction, who do you suppose they ended up with? They start out with all this great hope and end up in the Twilight Zone. Great plan, there, St. Kevin.
