Please do not copyAnother photograph from Angus Martin's collection, this one of his grandfather, Duncan Martin (left) and another elderly Dalintober fisherman, John 'Glundy' McKinlay. The picture was taken on Dalintober Quay circa 1935, probably in spring, because Duncan at the time was scraping the mast of his 'Fame', for revarnishing, so the skiff must have been on the beach for her annual spring-clean. The two men are seated on the propped-up mast and Duncan holds a scraper in his right hand. The photograph was taken by Angus Martin's aunt, Sarah Campbell Martin, who commenced her lifelong interest in photography around 1915 and died in 1970 at the age of 71, leaving many hundreds of images behind her.
