Nice pic Martin.

Port Righ is the bay and quite a good fishing area for many years.Your photo would be taken round the rocks below the trees on the right of google map.Do you mind if I put this on the Carradale Goat website?

Port Righ ! Of course, thanks for that.
We used to fish there a lot and I do remember his nibs having to scramble down rocks with a gaff to hoist that beast up.
I think it was there that we used to get dive bombed by the Terns protecting their nests. I remember it seemed like quite a walk from the car to where we fished and mum would have some spuds in the bag and we'd make a fire on the rocks out of the dry heather and bits of wood and roast the tatties on it.
Happy days.

I don't mind if you use the pic, feel free. I have some press clippings somewhere, if I ever find them again I'll let you have copies if you want.
Ouch !

the man holding the horse was alec mcgill,he helped with the horses at the moy farm.the man sitting on the fence looks like billy mclatchie and the woman passing 37 secs into the film i'm sure is sheena lambert (mclatchie) my mother in law.
