I think there is the obvoius connection, that they, (Jack Straw & Co.), couldn't say no to releasing Ronnie Biggs, and then release the Lockerbie bomber a few days later on compasionate grounds. (Gaddafi got's his present to display for his 40 years anniversary, and Ronnie Biggs just got away with it once more).

Where is Ronnie by the way now ? :?:

We haven't heard anything about Mr Biggs for a while. come to think of it, there's not been much news of Megrahi either.

And we were led to believe both of them were on their last legs when they were released. :? :? :?

Biggs has promised to keep low profile, not to offend the public, as a part of the deal. Must be hard for him :wink:
