Meeting

I will be in Campbeltown next month May - I thought it may be fun if some members of the Forum, to meet up in the White Hart Hotel on a Saturday Afternoon - till the wee small hours. We could have a good old discussion and put faces to names.

The idea of open debate really appeals - we could have a Kintyre Forum Debating Society - held yearly in Campbeltown.
EMDEE would make a fine referee, as he is a stickler for the rules. :lol:

Seriously though - I think a Debating Society, meeting a few times of year in Campbeltown - would be great for the area. Or perhaps you already have one?

There used to be one ,but everybody just sat about talking all night ,so it just fizzled out . :lol:

Looks like the meeting would be best held in Glasgow to make it easier for the only ones who post to attend :roll:

Much nearer than Kintyre I'm sure.
