I know that the term "LIONS LED BY DONKEYS" stems from WW1, but it still rings true today.
Perhaps if a few more of our political masters had sons and daughters serving in the armed forces they'd be less keen to send other people's off into harm's way on a fool's errand.
I agree Beacho, I always remember hearing about Rudyard Kipling being very "pro war", an opinion that changed dramatically
