I am not a pedant, but why
when itunes gifts open the mind to new song.
Black track as delicious as Turkey fig.
Sleek as a black greyhound.

Frozen water under leather
slides like Wicksteed steel when child.
A definite outcome, A&E. E&A.

The time between, Twilight and Dawn,
Outlines dull, straining vision,
The Darkness fights, the losing war,
Each second sounds, the deathly knell.

The time between, Dusk and Dark,
Outlines dull, straining vision.
The Light fights, the losing war,
Each second sounds, it's deathly knell.

So you're not going to pen a wee verse to say where you've been then? :<>

Fulmar at rest,
partner wheels the sky not caring if the
beach dog worries jogger.
Leaden footed near edge of tide.
What was once warm is now chill (no shine)!

We don't own the earth.
But what we do resonates far beyond the offing.
We can merely hope, that in years past one thousand
there will be no record of our indulgence.

Time to resurrect this tired old thread ?

Her name was Joanne
She lived in a can
The wind blew through it
And froze her left tit

She had a collection of watches
And several boxes of matches
A jewel encrusted turban
On a shelf in her can

A council cleaning wagon
Slid like a toboggan
It flattended the can
The end of Joanne.
