Absolutely gutted at the news.I am heartbroken at one of Europe's - nay, the world's - most inspiring, iconic places being destroyed like this, it's an absolute tragedy.

I agree with every word you have said. 'Tis a real shame.

I was up at Southend last week when the news broke on Friday. Many of my relatives who were up at the time are all gutted. Such a shame for the city. Got the ferry back tonight and people were still chatting about it. I think the photos in the press and on TV summed up perfectly how the ordinary person felt. Such a shame.
