Thanks Isa, I knew I knew it from somewhere !
R.R. Roger, they'd not invite me, not if they want a drink left for the rest of them.

I am watching it, but it is not a patch on the opening ceremony. That might just be because of my age though.
Just saw Tom Daley overtaking Usain Bolt in the 50mtr dash for the toilets once they were sure George Michael was up on the stage.

It`s definitely not a patch on the opening ceremony, but it brightened up when Eric Idle came on, and the official closing down has been good.

I watched the very start of it at a friend's house and sat through that wailing tart, when they desecrated the Plastic Pig we decided that we didn't want our intelligence insulted further.
Just been told that Pedo Pete and Roger were there, thank God I missed that.

OK now that it is over. Why were most of the announcements done in French then English and what the hell was that red, spirally, tower thingy that was a backdrop for every TV prog. actually for?

The organiser's obviously thought Lennon, Eric Idle, Queen etc were a classier act than old Hey Jude and Springsteen--they left the lights and sound on for them.

The Olympics have completely changed the perception of Britain on the world stage.

Two weeks ago the world thought we were s**t at sport but great at music............

Gizmo, the official language of the Olympics is French. They make announcements in French first, then the native language of the host nation.
