Rev James Currie was the minister at Dunlop in Ayrshire. It may have been him, as he was quite high profile. He used to compere Fiddlers Rallies all round the country and in fact compered a couple in the Victoria Hall in Campbeltown in the late 1970s. :D

Ahh EMDEE, think you got it in one. I had posted Dunlop but my brain cell must have been thinking about the place and not the person! :D

I know I'm not the most loveable guy on the planet but you really are the most obnoxious wee man ever.

This is a personal attack, and clearly breaks the rules of the forum.

Ironarse, how about we make a deal, you ignore my posts and I'll ignore yours. Then I'm sure thee and me will get along fine. The olive branch is there, please yourself if you grasp it or break it.

I tend to find, that ignoring things ( is in most cases ) downright bad manners, it runs contrary to the ethos of communications, and is generally dangerous. If you ignore that wee lump, then so be it, at your own peril. :D
